Review: Midnight Alley by Rachel Caine

About~ Morganville is such a nice place to live…

When Claire Danvers learned that her college town was run by vampires, she did what any intelligent, self-preserving freshman would do: she applied for a transfer and she stocked up on garlic. The transfer is no longer an option, but the garlic may come in handy.

And die if you don’t mind the sort of thing.

Now Claire has pledged herself to Ameile, the most powerful vampire in town. The protection her contract secures does little to reassure those closest to Claire. All of a sudden, people are turning up dead, a stalker resurfaces from her past, and an ancient bloodsucker extends a chilling invitation for private lessons in his secluded home. To what end, Claire will soon discover- and it will give a terrifying new meaning to night school.

Warning: If you have not read the first two books in this series, this review might contain spoilers.

My Review~ Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. This book was awesome. I loved this book from the first sentence. I so admire the author for writing this book. I can’t believe that Michael got turned into a vampire!!! And it’s about time Shane and Claire became boyfriend and girlfriend. What shocked me was the ending. But of I won’t tell you what the ending was. So instead, I will just describe it in three words “Oh my god!!!”. There is also more of Jason (Eve’s little brother) in this book.

Review: Twilight By Stephenie Meyer

About~ About three things i was absolutely positive.

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him- and I didn't know how dominant that part might be- that thirsted for my blood.

And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

My Review~ Okay, I don't want to sound corny, but if it wasn't for Twilight, I would not be reading books like i do today. As much as i love Twilight, I have to admit that the author puts too much detail in many scene's. Sometimes she does not just get to the point. Twilight is all about how Edward and Bella meet and how they fall in love. There is no action. In the ballet secne, somethings happen but there is not a lot of action. I would recommend this book to readers, but i would not put it on the top of your reading pile.

Plot: 3/5
Characters: 4/5
Ending: 4/5
Cover Art: 4/5
Pages in Novel: 498

Other books in the series: New Moon, Eclipse, Braking Dawn

Delayed Posting

I'm sorry to say, but for then next week or so, i will not be able to write any new posts because i will be studying for a big test that counts for half my grade, and as sad as it is to say school comes first before books. But as i take some brakes from studying i will be writing more reviews and thinking of ideas for the Eternal Night.
