Title: Bloody Valentine: A Blue Bloods Novella
Author: Melissa de la Cruz
Release Date: December 28, 2010
Book Description:
Vampires have powers beyond human comprehension: strength that defies logic, speed that cannot be captured on film, the ability to shapeshift and more. But in matters of the heart, no one, not even the strikingly beautiful and outrageously wealthy Blue Bloods, has total control. In Bloody Valentine, bestselling author Melissa de la Cruz offers readers a new story about the love lives of their favorite vamps – the passion and heartache, the hope and devastation, the lust and longing. Combined with all the glitz, glamour, and mystery fans have come to expect, this is sure to be another huge hit in the Blue Bloods series.
My Thoughts: This book sounds great. But sadly as always, the great books I find are part of series I have not read yet. But anyway, I love the cover. I feel like it fits the rest of the cover to the series. And the flower looks beautiful.

Title: Darkest Mercy (Wicked Lovely #5)
Author: Melissa Marr
Release Date: February 22, 2010
This is not the final cover. But the book does have some different features to it then it had from the last cover.
Book Description:
The Summer King is missing; the Dark Court is bleeding; and a stranger walks the streets of Huntsdale, his presence signifying the deaths of powerful fey.
Aislinn tends the Summer Court, searching for her absent king and yearning for Seth. Torn between his new queen and his old love, Keenan works from afar to strengthen his court against the coming war. Donia longs for fiery passion even as she coolly readies the Winter Court for battle. And Seth, sworn brother of the Dark King and heir to the High Queen, is about to make a mistake that could cost his life.
Love, despair, and betrayal ignite the faery courts, and in the final conflict, some will win…and some will lose everything.
The exhilarating conclusion to Melissa Marr’s New York Times bestselling Wicked Lovely series will leave readers breathless.
My Thoughts: Well I love the new cover. I have not (yet again) read this series, but it looks really good. I might start reading this series soon. And the cover does look like it fits in with the rest of the covers to this series.

Title: Personal Demons
Author: Lisa Desrochers
Release Date: September 14, 2010
Old Cover:
Book Description:
Frannie Cavanaugh is a good Catholic girl with a bit of a wicked streak. She has spent years keeping everyone at a distance---even her closest friends---and it seems as if her senior year is going to be more of the same . . . until Luc Cain enrolls in her class. No one knows where he came from, but Frannie can’t seem to stay away from him.
What she doesn’t know is that Luc is on a mission. He’s been sent from Hell itself to claim Frannie’s soul. It should be easy---all he has to do is get her to sin, and Luc is as tempting as they come. Frannie doesn’t stand a chance. But he has to work fast, because if the infernals are after her, the celestials can’t be far behind. And sure enough, it’s not long before the angel Gabriel shows up, willing to do anything to keep Luc from getting what he came for. It isn’t long before they find themselves fighting for more than just Frannie’s soul.
But if Luc fails, there will be Hell to pay . . . for all of them.
My Thoughts: Wow. This cover does not even look like it belongs in the YA section. This cover looks like it belongs in the Adult Urban Fantasy section instead. I have to admit though, I did like the old cover better (seen above). But they could have change the girl to the old cover to make it better; not change the whole thing.

Title: Fallen Angel
Author: Heather Terrell
Release Date: December 28, 2010
Book Description:
The first book in a dark, edgy new angel series about a girl who finds herself forced to choose sides in the battle between fallen angels, even if that means going against the boy she loves.
When Ellie Faneuil first sees Michael Chase she feels an instantaneous connection. But she does not realize how much they have in common, including the ability fly and to see what others are thinking - not to mention a taste for blood. Reveling in their new powers and their growing feelings for each other, Ellie and Michael are determined to uncover what they are, and how they got this way ... together.
But the truth has repercussions neither could have imagined. Soon they find themselves center stage in an ancient conflict between fallen angels that threatens to destroy everything they love. And it is no longer clear whether Ellie and Michael will choose the same side.
In this electrifying novel Heather Terrell spins a gripping tale of soul-mates, supernatural powers and a truth that will change Ellie and Michael‘s world forever.
My Thoughts: Okay, the girl on this cover looks like the main female character of the girl who did Pirates of the Caribbean or Lindsay Lohan. But the description of the book does sound good.

Title: Vampire Crush
Author: A.M. Robinson
Release Date: December 28, 2010
Book Description:
First, six mysteriously pale new students show up at Sophie McGee’s high school. Then, Sophie’s childhood nemesis James reappears, still displaying a knack for making Sophie’s blood boil. When Sophie finds out that James has a connection to the new students, she decides to investigate...never expecting her life will quickly begin to resemble a campy horror movie, complete with budding crushes and bloodthirsty villains.
Perfect for fans of the Vampire Kisses and Vladmir Tod series, A. M. Robinson’s debut novel sparkles with action, intrigue, irresistible wit, and sizzling romance.
My Thoughts:This book sounds good. The cover looks good, and I love the fact the it has a bat (is that a cookie?) instead of fangs. It's quite simple and I think that's why I like it.
What do you think of these covers?
